1나의 자녀들아 내가 이것을 너희에게 씀은 너희로 죄를 범치 않게 하려 함이라 만일 누가 죄를 범하면 아버지 앞에서 우리에게 대언자가 있으니 곧 의로우신 예수 그리스도시라
BSBMy little children, I am writing these things to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate before the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.
KJVMy little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

BSBBut if anyone keeps His word, the love of God has been truly perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him:
KJVBut whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

BSBBeloved, I am not writing to you a new commandment, but an old one, which you have had from the beginning. This commandment is the message you have heard.
KJVBrethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.

BSBI have not written to you because you lack knowledge of the truth, but because you have it, and because no lie comes from the truth.
