1야곱이 들은즉 라반의 아들들의 말이 야곱이 우리 아버지의 소유를 다 빼앗고 우리 아버지의 소유로 인하여 이같이 거부가 되었다 하는지라
BSBNow Jacob heard that Laban’s sons were saying, “Jacob has taken away all that belonged to our father and built all this wealth at our father’s expense.”
KJVAnd he heard the words of Laban’s sons, saying, Jacob hath taken away all that was our father’s; and of that which was our father’s hath he gotten all this glory.

KJVAnd your father hath deceived me, and changed my wages ten times; but God suffered him not to hurt me.

8그가 이르기를 점 있는 것이 네 삯이 되리라 하면 온 양떼의 낳은 것이 점 있는 것이요 또 얼룩무늬 있는 것이 네 삯이 되리라 하면 온 양떼의 낳은 것이 얼룩무늬 있는 것이니
BSBIf he said, ‘The speckled will be your wages,’ then the whole flock bore speckled offspring. If he said, ‘The streaked will be your wages,’ then the whole flock bore streaked offspring.
KJVIf he said thus, The speckled shall be thy wages; then all the cattle bare speckled: and if he said thus, The ringstraked shall be thy hire; then bare all the cattle ringstraked.

10그 양떼가 새끼 밸 때에 내가 꿈에 눈을 들어 보니 양떼를 탄 수양은 다 얼룩무늬 있는것, 점 있는 것, 아롱진 것이었더라
BSBWhen the flocks were breeding, I saw in a dream that the streaked, spotted, and speckled males were mating with the females.
KJVAnd it came to pass at the time that the cattle conceived, that I lifted up mine eyes, and saw in a dream, and, behold, the rams which leaped upon the cattle were ringstraked, speckled, and grisled.

KJVAnd God came to Laban the Syrian in a dream by night, and said unto him, Take heed that thou speak not to Jacob either good or bad.

BSBNow Jacob had pitched his tent in the hill country of Gilead when Laban overtook him, and Laban and his relatives camped there as well.
KJVThen Laban overtook Jacob. Now Jacob had pitched his tent in the mount: and Laban with his brethren pitched in the mount of Gilead.

KJVWith whomsoever thou findest thy gods, let him not live: before our brethren discern thou what is thine with me, and take it to thee. For Jacob knew not that Rachel had stolen them.

BSBRachel said to her father, “Sir, do not be angry that I cannot stand up before you; for I am having my period.” So Laban searched, but could not find the household idols.
KJVAnd she said to her father, Let it not displease my lord that I cannot rise up before thee; for the custom of women is upon me. And he searched, but found not the images.

BSBThen Jacob became incensed and challenged Laban. “What is my crime?” he said. “For what sin of mine have you so hotly pursued me?
KJVAnd Jacob was wroth, and chode with Laban: and Jacob answered and said to Laban, What is my trespass? what is my sin, that thou hast so hotly pursued after me?

KJVWhereas thou hast searched all my stuff, what hast thou found of all thy household stuff? set it here before my brethren and thy brethren, that they may judge betwixt us both.
