1그 후에 애굽 왕의 술 맡은 자와 떡 굽는 자가 그 주 애굽 왕에게 범죄한지라
BSBSome time later, the king’s cupbearer and baker offended their master, the king of Egypt.
KJVAnd it came to pass after these things, that the butler of the king of Egypt and his baker had offended their lord the king of Egypt.

BSBPharaoh was angry with his two officers, the chief cupbearer and the chief baker,
KJVAnd Pharaoh was wroth against two of his officers, against the chief of the butlers, and against the chief of the bakers.

BSBThe captain of the guard assigned them to Joseph, and he became their personal attendant. After they had been in custody for some time,
KJVAnd the captain of the guard charged Joseph with them, and he served them: and they continued a season in ward.

BSBboth of these men—the Egyptian king’s cupbearer and baker, who were being held in the prison—had a dream on the same night, and each dream had its own meaning.
KJVAnd they dreamed a dream both of them, each man his dream in one night, each man according to the interpretation of his dream, the butler and the baker of the king of Egypt, which were bound in the prison.

BSBWhen Joseph came to them in the morning, he saw that they were distraught.
KJVAnd Joseph came in unto them in the morning, and looked upon them, and, behold, they were sad.

BSBSo he asked the officials of Pharaoh who were in custody with him in his master’s house, “Why are your faces so downcast today?”
KJVAnd he asked Pharaoh’s officers that were with him in the ward of his lord’s house, saying, Wherefore look ye so sadly to day?
영어 직역그리고 그는 그의 주인의 집의 감금소에서 그와 함께 있던 파라오의 신하들에게 물었으며, 말하기를, 너희가 오늘 어찌하여 그렇게 슬픈 표정으로 보이는가?
8그들이 그에게 이르되 우리가 꿈을 꾸었으나 이를 해석할 자가 없도다 요셉이 그들에게 이르되 해석은 하나님께 있지 아니하니이까 청컨대 내게 고하소서
BSB“We both had dreams,” they replied, “but there is no one to interpret them.” Then Joseph said to them, “Don’t interpretations belong to God? Tell me your dreams.”
KJVAnd they said unto him, We have dreamed a dream, and there is no interpreter of it. And Joseph said unto them, Do not interpretations belong to God? tell me them, I pray you.
영어 직역그리고 그들이 그에게 이르되, 우리가 꿈을 꾸었으니, 그것을 해석할 사람이 없도다. 그리고 요셉이 그들에게 이르되, 해석이 하나님께 속하지 아니한가? 청하건대 내게 말하라.
9술 맡은 관원장이 그 꿈을 요셉에게 말하여 가로되 내가 꿈에 보니 내 앞에 포도나무가 있는데
BSBSo the chief cupbearer told Joseph his dream: “In my dream there was a vine before me,
KJVAnd the chief butler told his dream to Joseph, and said to him, In my dream, behold, a vine was before me;
영어 직역그리고 집사들의 우두머리가 자기의 꿈을 요셉에게 말하였으며, 그에게 이르되, 내 꿈에 보라, 내 앞에 포도나무 하나가 있었다.
10그 나무에 세 가지가 있고 싹이 나서 꽃이 피고 포도송이가 익었고
BSBand on the vine were three branches. As it budded, its blossoms opened and its clusters ripened into grapes.
KJVAnd in the vine were three branches: and it was as though it budded, and her blossoms shot forth; and the clusters thereof brought forth ripe grapes:
영어 직역그리고 그 포도나무에 세 가지가 있었다. 그리고 그것이 움이 터서 피는 것처럼 되었으며, 그 꽃들이 피어 났다. 그리고 그 송이들이 익은 포도를 맺었다.
11내 손에 바로의 잔이 있기로 내가 포도를 따서 그 즙을 바로의 잔에 짜서 그 잔을 바로의 손에 드렸노라
BSBPharaoh’s cup was in my hand, and I took the grapes, squeezed them into his cup, and placed the cup in his hand.”
KJVAnd Pharaoh’s cup was in my hand: and I took the grapes, and pressed them into Pharaoh’s cup, and I gave the cup into Pharaoh’s hand.
영어 직역그리고 파라오의 잔이 내 손에 있었으니, 내가 포도를 취하여 그것을 파라오의 잔에 짜서 넣고, 그 잔을 파라오의 손에 드렸다.
12요셉이 그에게 이르되 그 해석이 이러하니 세 가지는 사흘이라

13지금부터 사흘 안에 바로가 당신의 머리를 들고 당신의 전직을 회복하리니 당신이 이왕에 술 맡은 자가 되었을 때에 하던 것 같이 바로의 잔을 그 손에 받들게 되리이다
BSBWithin three days Pharaoh will lift up your head and restore your position. You will put Pharaoh’s cup in his hand, just as you did when you were his cupbearer.
KJVYet within three days shall Pharaoh lift up thine head, and restore thee unto thy place: and thou shalt deliver Pharaoh’s cup into his hand, after the former manner when thou wast his butler.

BSBBut when it goes well for you, please remember me and show me kindness by mentioning me to Pharaoh, that he might bring me out of this prison.
KJVBut think on me when it shall be well with thee, and shew kindness, I pray thee, unto me, and make mention of me unto Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house:

15나는 히브리 땅에서 끌려온 자요 여기서도 옥에 갇힐 일은 행치 아니하였나이다
BSBFor I was kidnapped from the land of the Hebrews, and even here I have done nothing for which they should have put me in this dungeon.”
KJVFor indeed I was stolen away out of the land of the Hebrews: and here also have I done nothing that they should put me into the dungeon.

16떡 굽는 관원장이 그 해석이 길함을 보고 요셉에게 이르되 나도 꿈에 보니 흰 떡 세 광주리가 내 머리에 있고
BSBWhen the chief baker saw that the interpretation was favorable, he said to Joseph, “I too had a dream: There were three baskets of white bread on my head.
KJVWhen the chief baker saw that the interpretation was good, he said unto Joseph, I also was in my dream, and, behold, I had three white baskets on my head:
영어 직역제과장들의 우두머리가 그 해석이 좋은 것을 본즉, 요셉에게 이르되, 나도 내 꿈에 있었으니, 보라, 내 머리 위에 흰 광주리 셋이 있었다.
17그 윗광주리에 바로를 위하여 만든 각종 구운 식물이 있는데 새들이 내 머리의 광주리에서 그것을 먹더라
BSBIn the top basket were all sorts of baked goods for Pharaoh, but the birds were eating them out of the basket on my head.”
KJVAnd in the uppermost basket there was of all manner of bakemeats for Pharaoh; and the birds did eat them out of the basket upon my head.

19지금부터 사흘 안에 바로가 당신의 머리를 끊고 당신을 나무에 달리니 새들이 당신의 고기를 뜯어 먹으리이다 하더니
BSBWithin three days Pharaoh will lift off your head and hang you on a tree. Then the birds will eat the flesh of your body.”
KJVYet within three days shall Pharaoh lift up thy head from off thee, and shall hang thee on a tree; and the birds shall eat thy flesh from off thee.
영어 직역아직도 사흘 안에 파라오가 너의 머리를 너에게서 들어올리고, 너를 나무에 달 것이며, 새들이 너에게서 네 살을 먹을 것이다.
20제삼일은 바로의 탄일이라 바로가 모든 신하를 위하여 잔치할 때에 술 맡은 관원장과 떡 굽는 관원장으로 머리를 그 신하 중에 들게 하니라
BSBOn the third day, which was Pharaoh’s birthday, he held a feast for all his officials, and in their presence he lifted up the heads of the chief cupbearer and the chief baker.
KJVAnd it came to pass the third day, which was Pharaoh’s birthday, that he made a feast unto all his servants: and he lifted up the head of the chief butler and of the chief baker among his servants.

BSBPharaoh restored the chief cupbearer to his position, so that he once again placed the cup in Pharaoh’s hand.
KJVAnd he restored the chief butler unto his butlership again; and he gave the cup into Pharaoh’s hand:

22떡 굽는 관원장은 매여 달리니 요셉이 그들에게 해석함과 같이 되었으나
BSBBut Pharaoh hanged the chief baker, just as Joseph had described to them in his interpretation.
KJVBut he hanged the chief baker: as Joseph had interpreted to them.
영어 직역그러나 그가 제과장들의 우두머리를 달았으니, 요셉이 그들에게 해석한 대로였다.
23술 맡은 관원장이 요셉을 기억지 않고 잊었더라
BSBThe chief cupbearer, however, did not remember Joseph; he forgot all about him.
KJVYet did not the chief butler remember Joseph, but forgat him.
