1나 여호와가 이같이 이르노라 내가 너희 어미를 내어보낸 이혼서가 어디 있느냐 내가 어느 채주에게 너희를 팔았느냐 오직 너희는 너희의 죄악을 인하여 팔렸고 너희 어미는 너희의 허물을 인하여 내어보냄을 입었느니라
BSBThis is what the LORD says: “Where is your mother’s certificate of divorce with which I sent her away? Or to which of My creditors did I sell you? Look, you were sold for your iniquities, and for your transgressions your mother was sent away.
KJVThus saith the Lord, Where is the bill of your mother’s divorcement, whom I have put away? or which of my creditors is it to whom I have sold you? Behold, for your iniquities have ye sold yourselves, and for your transgressions is your mother put away.
영어 직역주가 이같이 말하노니, 너희 어머니의 이혼 증서가 어디에 있느냐, 내가 그를 내보냈느니라, 또는 내 채권자들 중 누가 너희를 사간 자냐? 보라, 너희의 불의로 말미암아 너희가 자신들을 팔았고, 너희의 죄로 말미암아 너희 어머니가 내보내어진 것이라.
2내가 왔어도 사람이 없었으며 내가 불러도 대답하는 자가 없었음은 어찜이뇨 내 손이 어찌 짧아 구속하지 못하겠느냐 내게 어찌 건질 능력이 없겠느냐 보라 내가 꾸짖은즉 바다가 마르며 하수가 광야가 될 것이며 거기 물이 없어졌으므로 어족이 갈하여 죽어 악취를 발하게 되느니라
BSBWhy was no one there when I arrived? Why did no one answer when I called? Is My hand too short to redeem you? Or do I lack the strength to deliver you? Behold, My rebuke dries up the sea; I turn the rivers into a desert; the fish rot for lack of water and die of thirst.
KJVWherefore, when I came, was there no man? when I called, was there none to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it cannot redeem? or have I no power to deliver? behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness: their fish stinketh, because there is no water, and dieth for thirst.

3내가 흑암으로 하늘을 입히며 굵은 베로 덮느니라

4주 여호와께서 학자의 혀를 내게 주사 나로 곤핍한 자를 말로 어떻게 도와줄 줄을 알게 하시고 아침마다 깨우치시되 나의 귀를 깨우치사 학자 같이 알아듣게 하시도다
BSBThe Lord GOD has given Me the tongue of discipleship, to sustain the weary with a word. He awakens Me morning by morning; He awakens My ear to listen as a disciple.
KJVThe Lord God hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.

6나를 때리는 자들에게 내 등을 맡기며 나의 수염을 뽑는 자들에게 나의 뺨을 맡기며 수욕과 침 뱉음을 피하려고 내 얼굴을 가리우지 아니하였느니라
BSBI offered My back to those who struck Me, and My cheeks to those who tore out My beard. I did not hide My face from scorn and spittle.
KJVI gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.

BSBBecause the Lord GOD helps Me, I have not been disgraced; therefore I have set My face like flint, and I know that I will not be put to shame.
KJVFor the Lord God will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.

BSBThe One who vindicates Me is near. Who will dare to contend with Me? Let us confront each other! Who has a case against Me? Let him approach Me!
KJVHe is near that justifieth me; who will contend with me? let us stand together: who is mine adversary? let him come near to me.

BSBSurely the Lord GOD helps Me. Who is there to condemn Me? See, they will all wear out like a garment; the moths will devour them.

KJVWho is among you that feareth the Lord, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the Lord, and stay upon his God.

BSBBehold, all you who kindle a fire, who array yourselves with firebrands, walk in the light of your fire and of the firebrands you have lit! This is what you will receive from My hand: You will lie down in a place of torment.
KJVBehold, all ye that kindle a fire, that compass yourselves about with sparks: walk in the light of your fire, and in the sparks that ye have kindled. This shall ye have of mine hand; ye shall lie down in sorrow.
