1유다 왕 요시야의 아들 여호야김의 즉위한 지 오래지 아니하여서 여호와께서 말씀으로 나 예레미야에게 이르시니라
BSBAt the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah son of Josiah king of Judah, this word came to Jeremiah from the LORD.
KJVIn the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah came this word unto Jeremiah from the Lord, saying,

2여호와께서 이같이 내게 이르시되 너는 줄과 멍에를 만들어 네 목에 얹고
BSBThis is what the LORD said to me: “Make for yourself a yoke out of leather straps and put it on your neck.
KJVThus saith the Lord to me; Make thee bonds and yokes, and put them upon thy neck,
영어 직역여호와가 나에게 이같이 이르셨다: 너는 결박들과 멍에들을 만들고, 그것들을 네 목에 얹으라,
3유다 왕 시드기야를 보러 예루살렘에 온 사신들의 손에도 그것을 붙여 에돔 왕과 모압 왕과 암몬 자손의 왕과 두로 왕과 시돈 왕에게 보내며
BSBSend word to the kings of Edom, Moab, Ammon, Tyre, and Sidon through the envoys who have come to Jerusalem to Zedekiah king of Judah.
KJVAnd send them to the king of Edom, and to the king of Moab, and to the king of the Ammonites, and to the king of Tyrus, and to the king of Zidon, by the hand of the messengers which come to Jerusalem unto Zedekiah king of Judah;

BSBGive them a message from the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, to relay to their masters:
KJVAnd command them to say unto their masters, Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Thus shall ye say unto your masters;
영어 직역그리고 그들에게 명하여 그들의 주인들에게 말하게 하라, 만군의 여호와, 이스라엘의 하나님이 이같이 이르신다: 너희는 이같이 너희 주인들에게 말하라;
5나는 내 큰 능과 나의 든 팔로 땅과 그 위에 있는 사람과 짐승들을 만들고 나의 소견에 옳은 대로 땅을 사람에게 주었노라
BSBBy My great power and outstretched arm, I made the earth and the men and beasts on the face of it, and I give it to whom I please.
KJVI have made the earth, the man and the beast that are upon the ground, by my great power and by my outstretched arm, and have given it unto whom it seemed meet unto me.

BSBSo now I have placed all these lands under the authority of My servant Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon. I have even made the beasts of the field subject to him.
KJVAnd now have I given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant; and the beasts of the field have I given him also to serve him.

BSBAll nations will serve him and his son and grandson, until the time of his own land comes; then many nations and great kings will enslave him.
KJVAnd all nations shall serve him, and his son, and his son’s son, until the very time of his land come: and then many nations and great kings shall serve themselves of him.

BSBAs for the nation or kingdom that does not serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and does not place its neck under his yoke, I will punish that nation by sword and famine and plague, declares the LORD, until I have destroyed it by his hand.
KJVAnd it shall come to pass, that the nation and kingdom which will not serve the same Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, and that will not put their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, that nation will I punish, saith the Lord, with the sword, and with the famine, and with the pestilence, until I have consumed them by his hand.

BSBBut as for you, do not listen to your prophets, your diviners, your interpreters of dreams, your mediums, or your sorcerers who declare, ‘You will not serve the king of Babylon.’
KJVTherefore hearken not ye to your prophets, nor to your diviners, nor to your dreamers, nor to your enchanters, nor to your sorcerers, which speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon:

BSBBut the nation that will put its neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon and serve him, I will leave in its own land, to cultivate it and reside in it, declares the LORD.”
KJVBut the nations that bring their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him, those will I let remain still in their own land, saith the Lord; and they shall till it, and dwell therein.

BSBAnd to Zedekiah king of Judah I spoke the same message: “Put your necks under the yoke of the king of Babylon; serve him and his people, and live!
KJVI spake also to Zedekiah king of Judah according to all these words, saying, Bring your necks under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him and his people, and live.

BSBWhy should you and your people die by sword and famine and plague, as the LORD has decreed against any nation that does not serve the king of Babylon?
KJVWhy will ye die, thou and thy people, by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence, as the Lord hath spoken against the nation that will not serve the king of Babylon?
영어 직역어찌하여 너와 네 백성이 칼로, 기근으로, 염병으로 죽으려 하느냐, 여호와가 바벨론 왕을 섬기지 아니할 그 민족을 대하여 말씀하신 대로?
14왕과 백성에게 바벨론 왕을 섬기지 아니하리라 하는 선지자의 말을 듣지 마소서 그들은 거짓을 예언하나이다
BSBDo not listen to the words of the prophets who say, ‘You must not serve the king of Babylon,’ for they are prophesying to you a lie.
KJVTherefore hearken not unto the words of the prophets that speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon: for they prophesy a lie unto you.

BSBFor I have not sent them, declares the LORD, and yet they are prophesying falsely in My name; therefore I will banish you, and you will perish—you and the prophets who prophesy to you.”
KJVFor I have not sent them, saith the Lord, yet they prophesy a lie in my name; that I might drive you out, and that ye might perish, ye, and the prophets that prophesy unto you.

BSBThen I said to the priests and to all this people, “This is what the LORD says: Do not listen to the words of your prophets who prophesy to you, saying, ‘Look, very soon now the articles from the house of the LORD will be brought back from Babylon.’ They are prophesying to you a lie.
KJVAlso I spake to the priests and to all this people, saying, Thus saith the Lord; Hearken not to the words of your prophets that prophesy unto you, saying, Behold, the vessels of the Lord’s house shall now shortly be brought again from Babylon: for they prophesy a lie unto you.

BSBDo not listen to them. Serve the king of Babylon and live! Why should this city become a ruin?
KJVHearken not unto them; serve the king of Babylon, and live: wherefore should this city be laid waste?

18만일 그들이 선지자이고 여호와의 말씀이 그들에게 있을진대 그들이 여호와의 집에와 유다 왕의 집에와 예루살렘에 남아 있는 기구가 바벨론으로 옮겨가지 않도록 만군의 여호와께 구하여야 할 것이니라
BSBIf they are indeed prophets and the word of the LORD is with them, let them now plead with the LORD of Hosts that the articles remaining in the house of the LORD, in the palace of the king of Judah, and in Jerusalem, not be taken to Babylon.
KJVBut if they be prophets, and if the word of the Lord be with them, let them now make intercession to the Lord of hosts, that the vessels which are left in the house of the Lord, and in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem, go not to Babylon.

KJVFor thus saith the Lord of hosts concerning the pillars, and concerning the sea, and concerning the bases, and concerning the residue of the vessels that remain in this city,
