1예레미야가 모든 백성에게 그들의 하나님 여호와의 말씀 곧 그들의 하나님 여호와께서 자기를 보내사 그들에게 이르게 하신 이 모든 말씀을 다 말하매
BSBWhen Jeremiah had finished telling all the people all the words of the LORD their God—everything that the LORD had sent him to say—

영어 직역그리고 그렇게 되었다, 예레미야가 모든 백성에게 그들의 하나님 여호와의 모든 말씀을 말하기를 마쳤을 때, 그들의 하나님 여호와가 그를 그들에게 보내어 말하게 하신 그 모든 말씀을 다.
2호사야의 아들 아사랴와 가레아의 아들 요하난과 및 모든 교만한 자가 예레미야에게 말하여 가로되 네가 거짓을 말하는도다 우리 하나님 여호와께서는 너희는 애굽에 거하려고 그리로 가지 말라고 너를 보내어 말하게 하지 아니하셨느니라
BSBAzariah son of Hoshaiah, Johanan son of Kareah, and all the arrogant men said to Jeremiah, “You are lying! The LORD our God has not sent you to say, ‘You must not go to Egypt to reside there.’
KJVThen spake Azariah the son of Hoshaiah, and Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the proud men, saying unto Jeremiah, Thou speakest falsely: the Lord our God hath not sent thee to say, Go not into Egypt to sojourn there:

BSBRather, Baruch son of Neriah is inciting you against us to deliver us into the hands of the Chaldeans, so that they may put us to death or exile us to Babylon!”
KJVBut Baruch the son of Neriah setteth thee on against us, for to deliver us into the hand of the Chaldeans, that they might put us to death, and carry us away captives into Babylon.

KJVSo Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces, and all the people, obeyed not the voice of the Lord, to dwell in the land of Judah.

BSB“In the sight of the Jews, pick up some large stones and bury them in the clay of the brick pavement at the entrance to Pharaoh’s palace at Tahpanhes.
KJVTake great stones in thine hand, and hide them in the clay in the brickkiln, which is at the entry of Pharaoh’s house in Tahpanhes, in the sight of the men of Judah;

BSBI will kindle a fire in the temples of the gods of Egypt, and Nebuchadnezzar will burn those temples and take their gods as captives. So he will wrap himself with the land of Egypt as a shepherd wraps himself in his garment, and he will depart from there unscathed.
KJVAnd I will kindle a fire in the houses of the gods of Egypt; and he shall burn them, and carry them away captives: and he shall array himself with the land of Egypt, as a shepherd putteth on his garment; and he shall go forth from thence in peace.
