1제팔일에 모세가 아론과 그 아들들과 이스라엘 장로들을 불러다가
KJVAnd it came to pass on the eighth day, that Moses called Aaron and his sons, and the elders of Israel;

KJVAnd he said unto Aaron, Take thee a young calf for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering, without blemish, and offer them before the Lord.
영어 직역그리고 그가 아론에게 이르되, 너는 죄 제물을 위해 흠 없는 어린 송아지를, 번제를 위해 흠 없는 수양을 취하고 여호와 앞에서 그것들을 드리라.
3이스라엘 자손에게 고하여 이르기를 너희는 수염소를 속죄제를 위하여 취하고 또 송아지와 어린 양의 일년 되고 흠 없는 것을 번제를 위하여 취하고
KJVAnd unto the children of Israel thou shalt speak, saying, Take ye a kid of the goats for a sin offering; and a calf and a lamb, both of the first year, without blemish, for a burnt offering;
영어 직역그리고 이스라엘 자손들에게 너는 말하여 이르되, 너희는 죄 제물을 위해 염소 새끼를 취하고, 번제를 위해 흠 없는 첫해 송아지와 어린 양 둘을 취하라.
4또 화목제를 위하여 여호와 앞에 드릴 수소와 수양을 취하고 또 기름 섞은 소제물을 가져오라 하라 오늘 여호와께서 너희에게 나타나실 것임이니라 하매
KJVAlso a bullock and a ram for peace offerings, to sacrifice before the Lord; and a meat offering mingled with oil: for to day the Lord will appear unto you.
영어 직역또한 여호와 앞에서 제사하기 위해 화평 제물을 위해 소와 수양을, 그리고 기름에 섞인 곡물 제물을 취하라. 왜냐하면 오늘 여호와께서 너희에게 나타나실 것이기 때문이다.
5그들이 모세의 명한 모든 것을 회막 앞으로 가져 오고 온 회중이 나아와 여호와 앞에 선지라
KJVAnd they brought that which Moses commanded before the tabernacle of the congregation: and all the congregation drew near and stood before the Lord.

6모세가 가로되 이는 여호와께서 너희에게 하라고 명하신 것이니 여호와의 영광이 너희에게 나타나리라
KJVAnd Moses said, This is the thing which the Lord commanded that ye should do: and the glory of the Lord shall appear unto you.
영어 직역그리고 모세가 말했다, 이것이 여호와께서 너희가 행해야 할 것으로 명령하신 일이다. 그리고 여호와의 영광이 너희에게 나타날 것이다.
7그가 또 아론에게 이르되 너는 단에 나아가 네 속죄제와 네 번제를 드려서 너를 위하여, 백성을 위하여 속하고 또 백성의 예물을 드려서 그들을 위하여 속하되 무릇 여호와의 명대로 하라
KJVAnd Moses said unto Aaron, Go unto the altar, and offer thy sin offering, and thy burnt offering, and make an atonement for thyself, and for the people: and offer the offering of the people, and make an atonement for them; as the Lord commanded.
영어 직역그리고 모세가 아론에게 이르되, 제단으로 가서 너의 죄 제물과 너의 번제를 드리고, 너 자신과 백성을 위해 속죄하고, 백성의 제물을 드려서 그들을 위해 속죄하라. 여호와께서 명령하신 대로.
8이에 아론이 단에 나아가 자기를 위한 속죄제 송아지를 잡으매
KJVAaron therefore went unto the altar, and slew the calf of the sin offering, which was for himself.

9아론의 아들들이 그 피를 아론에게 받들어 주니 아론이 손가락으로 그 피를 찍어 단 뿔들에 바르고 그 피는 단 밑에 쏟고
KJVAnd the sons of Aaron brought the blood unto him: and he dipped his finger in the blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar, and poured out the blood at the bottom of the altar:

KJVBut the fat, and the kidneys, and the caul above the liver of the sin offering, he burnt upon the altar; as the Lord commanded Moses.
영어 직역그러나 죄 제물의 기름과 콩팥과 간 위의 꺼풀을 그가 제단 위에서 태웠다. 여호와께서 모세에게 명령하신 대로.
11그 고기와 가죽은 진 밖에서 불사르니라
KJVAnd the flesh and the hide he burnt with fire without the camp.
영어 직역그리고 고기와 가죽을 그가 진 밖에서 불로 태웠다.
12아론이 또 번제 희생을 잡으매 아론의 아들들이 그 피를 그에게로 가져오니 그가 그 피를 단 주위에 뿌리고
KJVAnd he slew the burnt offering; and Aaron’s sons presented unto him the blood, which he sprinkled round about upon the altar.
영어 직역그리고 그가 번제를 죽였다. 그리고 아론의 아들들이 피를 그에게 내놓았고, 그가 제단 위에 두루 뿌렸다.
13그들이 또 번제의 희생 곧 그 각과 머리를 그에게로 가져오매 그가 단 위에 불사르고
KJVAnd they presented the burnt offering unto him, with the pieces thereof, and the head: and he burnt them upon the altar.

14또 내장과 정갱이는 씻어서 단 윗 번제물 위에 불사르니라
KJVAnd he did wash the inwards and the legs, and burnt them upon the burnt offering on the altar.

15그가 또 백성의 예물을 드리되 곧 백성을 위한 속죄제의 염소를 취하여 잡아 전과 같이 죄를 위하여 드리고
KJVAnd he brought the people’s offering, and took the goat, which was the sin offering for the people, and slew it, and offered it for sin, as the first.

16또 번제 희생을 드리되 규례대로 드리고
KJVAnd he brought the burnt offering, and offered it according to the manner.

17또 소제를 드리되 그 중에서 한 움큼을 취하여 아침 번제물에 더하여 단 위에 불사르고
KJVAnd he brought the meat offering, and took an handful thereof, and burnt it upon the altar, beside the burnt sacrifice of the morning.

18또 백성을 위하는 화목제 희생의 수소와 수양을 잡으매 아론의 아들들이 그 피를 그에게로 가져오니 그가 단 주위에 뿌리고
KJVHe slew also the bullock and the ram for a sacrifice of peace offerings, which was for the people: and Aaron’s sons presented unto him the blood, which he sprinkled upon the altar round about,

19그들이 또 수소와 수양의 기름과 기름진 꼬리와 내장에 덮인 것과 콩팥과 간 꺼풀을 아론에게로 가져다가
KJVAnd the fat of the bullock and of the ram, the rump, and that which covereth the inwards, and the kidneys, and the caul above the liver:

20그 기름을 가슴들 위에 놓으매 아론이 그 기름을 단 위에 불사르고
KJVAnd they put the fat upon the breasts, and he burnt the fat upon the altar:
영어 직역그리고 그들이 그 기름을 가슴 위에 놓았고, 그가 그 기름을 제단 위에서 태웠다.
21가슴들과 우편 뒷다리를 그가 여호와 앞에 요제로 흔드니 모세의 명한 것과 같았더라
KJVAnd the breasts and the right shoulder Aaron waved for a wave offering before the Lord; as Moses commanded.
영어 직역그리고 가슴과 오른쪽 어깨를 아론이 여호와 앞에서 흔드는 제물로 흔들었다. 모세가 명령하신 대로.
22아론이 백성을 향하여 손을 들어 축복함으로 속죄제와 번제와 화목제를 필하고 내려오니라
KJVAnd Aaron lifted up his hand toward the people, and blessed them, and came down from offering of the sin offering, and the burnt offering, and peace offerings.

23모세와 아론이 회막에 들어 갔다가 나와서 백성에게 축복하매 여호와의 영광이 온 백성에게 나타나며
KJVAnd Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation, and came out, and blessed the people: and the glory of the Lord appeared unto all the people.

24불이 여호와 앞에서 나와 단 위의 번제물과 기름을 사른지라 온 백성이 이를 보고 소리지르며 엎드렸더라
KJVAnd there came a fire out from before the Lord, and consumed upon the altar the burnt offering and the fat: which when all the people saw, they shouted, and fell on their faces.
