1예수께서 배에 오르사 건너가 본 동네에 이르시니
BSBJesus got into a boat, crossed over, and came to His own town.
KJVAnd he entered into a ship, and passed over, and came into his own city.

BSBJust then some men brought to Him a paralytic lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Take courage, son; your sins are forgiven.”
KJVAnd, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.

3어떤 서기관들이 속으로 이르되 이 사람이 참람하도다
BSBOn seeing this, some of the scribes said to themselves, “This man is blaspheming!”
KJVAnd, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth.

4예수께서 그 생각을 아시고 가라사대 너희가 어찌하여 마음에 악한 생각을 하느냐
BSBBut Jesus knew what they were thinking and said, “Why do you harbor evil in your hearts?
KJVAnd Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?

BSBWhich is easier: to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up and walk?’
KJVFor whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk?

6그러나 인자가 세상에서 죄를 사하는 권세가 있는 줄을 너희로 알게 하려 하노라 하시고 중풍병자에게 말씀하시되 일어나 네 침상을 가지고 집으로 가라 하시니
BSBBut so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins...” Then He said to the paralytic, “Get up, pick up your mat, and go home.”
KJVBut that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.

BSBWhen the crowds saw this, they were filled with awe and glorified God, who had given such authority to men.
KJVBut when the multitudes saw it, they marvelled, and glorified God, which had given such power unto men.

9예수께서 거기서 떠나 지나가시다가 마태라 하는 사람이 세관에 앉은 것을 보시고 이르시되 나를 좇으라 하시니 일어나 좇으니라
BSBAs Jesus went on from there, He saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax booth. “Follow Me,” He told him, and Matthew got up and followed Him.
KJVAnd as Jesus passed forth from thence, he saw a man, named Matthew, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he saith unto him, Follow me. And he arose, and followed him.

KJVAnd it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples.

BSBWhen the Pharisees saw this, they asked His disciples, “Why does your Teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?”
KJVAnd when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners?

BSBOn hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.
KJVBut when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.

BSBBut go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”
KJVBut go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

KJVThen came to him the disciples of John, saying, Why do we and the Pharisees fast oft, but thy disciples fast not?

15예수께서 저희에게 이르시되 혼인집 손님들이 신랑과 함께 있을 동안에 슬퍼할 수 있느뇨 그러나 신랑을 빼앗길 날이 이르리니 그 때에는 금식할 것이니라
BSBJesus replied, “How can the guests of the bridegroom mourn while He is with them? But the time will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them; then they will fast.
KJVAnd Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? but the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast.

16생베 조각을 낡은 옷에 붙이는 자가 없나니 이는 기운 것이 그 옷을 당기어 해어짐이 더하게 됨이요
BSBNo one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment. For the patch will pull away from the garment, and a worse tear will result.
KJVNo man putteth a piece of new cloth unto an old garment, for that which is put in to fill it up taketh from the garment, and the rent is made worse.
영어 직역아무도 새 천을 낡은 옷에 대지 아니한다. 왜냐하면 그것을 채우기 위해 대는 것이 그 옷에서 떨어져 나가고, 그 터진 곳이 더욱 나빠지기 때문이다.
17새 포도주를 낡은 가죽 부대에 넣지 아니하나니 그렇게 하면 부대가 터져 포도주도 쏟아지고 부대도 버리게 됨이라 새 포도주는 새 부대에 넣어야 둘이 다 보전되느니라
BSBNeither do men pour new wine into old wineskins. If they do, the skins will burst, the wine will spill, and the wineskins will be ruined. Instead, they pour new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.”
KJVNeither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.

BSBWhile Jesus was saying these things, a synagogue leader came and knelt before Him. “My daughter has just died,” he said. “But come and place Your hand on her, and she will live.”
KJVWhile he spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead: but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live.

KJVFor she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.

22예수께서 돌이켜 그를 보시며 가라사대 딸아 안심하라 네 믿음이 너를 구원하였다 하시니 여자가 그 시로 구원을 받으니라
BSBJesus turned and saw her. “Take courage, daughter,” He said, “your faith has healed you.” And the woman was cured from that very hour.
KJVBut Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.

23예수께서 그 직원의 집에 가사 피리 부는 자들과 훤화하는 무리를 보시고
BSBWhen Jesus entered the house of the synagogue leader, He saw the flute players and the noisy crowd.
KJVAnd when Jesus came into the ruler’s house, and saw the minstrels and the people making a noise,

KJVHe said unto them, Give place: for the maid is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn.

BSBAfter the crowd had been put outside, Jesus went in and took the girl by the hand, and she got up.
KJVBut when the people were put forth, he went in, and took her by the hand, and the maid arose.

KJVAnd when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou Son of David, have mercy on us.

BSBAnd when the demon had been driven out, the man began to speak. The crowds were amazed and said, “Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel!”
KJVAnd when the devil was cast out, the dumb spake: and the multitudes marvelled, saying, It was never so seen in Israel.

KJVPray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.
