1또 저희에게 이르시되 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 여기 섰는 사람 중에 죽기 전에 하나님의 나라가 권능으로 임하는 것을 볼 자들도 있느니라 하시니라
BSBThen Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, there are some standing here who will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God arrive with power.”
KJVAnd he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power.

KJVAnd after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John, and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured before them.

BSBPeter said to Jesus, “Rabbi, it is good for us to be here. Let us put up three shelters —one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”

BSBAs they were coming down the mountain, Jesus admonished them not to tell anyone what they had seen until the Son of Man had risen from the dead.
KJVAnd as they came down from the mountain, he charged them that they should tell no man what things they had seen, till the Son of man were risen from the dead.

BSBHe replied, “Elijah does indeed come first, and he restores all things. Why then is it written that the Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected?
KJVAnd he answered and told them, Elias verily cometh first, and restoreth all things; and how it is written of the Son of man, that he must suffer many things, and be set at nought.

18귀신이 어디서든지 저를 잡으면 거꾸러져 거품을 흘리며 이를 갈며 그리고 파리하여 가는지라 내가 선생의 제자들에게 내어쫓아 달라 하였으나 저희가 능히 하지 못하더이다
BSBWhenever it seizes him, it throws him to the ground. He foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth, and becomes rigid. I asked Your disciples to drive it out, but they were unable.”
KJVAnd wheresoever he taketh him, he teareth him: and he foameth, and gnasheth with his teeth, and pineth away: and I spake to thy disciples that they should cast him out; and they could not.

BSBSo they brought him, and seeing Jesus, the spirit immediately threw the boy into a convulsion. He fell to the ground and rolled around, foaming at the mouth.
KJVAnd they brought him unto him: and when he saw him, straightway the spirit tare him; and he fell on the ground, and wallowed foaming.

BSBJesus asked the boy’s father, “How long has this been with him?” “From childhood,” he said.

BSB“It often throws him into the fire or into the water, trying to kill him. But if You can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.”
KJVAnd ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us.

BSBWhen Jesus saw that a crowd had come running, He rebuked the unclean spirit. “You deaf and mute spirit,” He said, “I command you to come out and never enter him again.”
KJVWhen Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him.

BSBAfter shrieking and convulsing him violently, the spirit came out. The boy became like a corpse, so that many said, “He is dead.”
KJVAnd the spirit cried, and rent him sore, and came out of him: and he was as one dead; insomuch that many said, He is dead.

KJVAnd he came to Capernaum: and being in the house he asked them, What was it that ye disputed among yourselves by the way?

BSBSitting down, Jesus called the Twelve and said, “If anyone wants to be first, he must be the last of all and the servant of all.”

BSBJohn said to Him, “Teacher, we saw someone else driving out demons in Your name, and we tried to stop him, because he does not accompany us.”
KJVAnd John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us.

BSB“Do not stop him,” Jesus replied. “For no one who performs a miracle in My name can turn around and speak evil of Me.
KJVBut Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me.

KJVAnd whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.

BSBIf your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life crippled than to have two hands and go into hell, into the unquenchable fire.
KJVAnd if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
