1만군의 여호와의 말씀이 임하여 이르시되
BSBAgain the word of the LORD of Hosts came to me, saying:

2만군의 여호와가 말하노라 내가 시온을 위하여 크게 질투하며 그를 위하여 크게 분노함으로 질투하노라
BSBThis is what the LORD of Hosts says: “I am jealous for Zion with great zeal; I am jealous for her with great fervor.”
KJVThus saith the Lord of hosts; I was jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and I was jealous for her with great fury.
영어 직역만군의 주가 이같이 말하노라. 내가 시온을 위하여 큰 질투로 질투하였고, 내가 그를 위하여 큰 분노로 질투하였다.
3나 여호와가 말하노라 내가 시온에 돌아왔은즉 예루살렘 가운데 거하리니 예루살렘은 진리의 성읍이라 일컫겠고 만군의 여호와의 산은 성산이라 일컫게 되리라
BSBThis is what the LORD says: “I will return to Zion and dwell in Jerusalem. Then Jerusalem will be called the City of Truth, and the mountain of the LORD of Hosts will be called the Holy Mountain.”
KJVThus saith the Lord; I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and the mountain of the Lord of hosts the holy mountain.
영어 직역주가 이같이 말하노라. 내가 시온으로 돌아왔고, 예루살렘 중앙에 거하리라. 그리고 예루살렘을 진리의 도시라 부를 것이고, 만군의 주의 산은 거룩한 산이 되리라.
4만군의 여호와가 말하노라 예루살렘 길거리에 늙은 지아비와 늙은 지어미가 다시 앉을 것이라 다 나이 많으므로 각기 손에 지팡이를 잡을 것이요
BSBThis is what the LORD of Hosts says: “Old men and old women will again sit along the streets of Jerusalem, each with a staff in hand because of great age.
KJVThus saith the Lord of hosts; There shall yet old men and old women dwell in the streets of Jerusalem, and every man with his staff in his hand for very age.
영어 직역만군의 주가 이같이 말하노라. 늙은 남자와 늙은 여자들이 아직도 예루살렘의 거리에 거하리니, 각 사람이 그의 손에 지팡이를 들고 있을 매우 많은 나이 때문이다.
5그 성읍 거리에 동남과 동녀가 가득하여 거기서 장난하리라
BSBAnd the streets of the city will be filled with boys and girls playing there.”
KJVAnd the streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in the streets thereof.
영어 직역그리고 그 도시의 거리들은 그 거리에서 노는 소년 소녀들로 가득 차리라.
6만군의 여호와가 말하노라 이 일이 그 날에 남은 백성의 눈에는 기이하려니와 내 눈에 어찌 기이하겠느냐 만군의 여호와의 말이니라
BSBThis is what the LORD of Hosts says: “If this is impossible in the eyes of the remnant of this people in these days, should it also be impossible in My eyes?” declares the LORD of Hosts.
KJVThus saith the Lord of hosts; If it be marvellous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in these days, should it also be marvellous in mine eyes? saith the Lord of hosts.
영어 직역만군의 주가 이같이 말하노라. 만일 이것이 이 백성의 남은 자의 눈에 놀라운 것이라면, 이 날들에, 내 눈에도 또한 놀라운 일이겠는가? 만군의 주가 말하였다.
7만군의 여호와가 말하노라 내가 내 백성을 동방에서부터, 서방에서부터 구원하여 내고
BSBThis is what the LORD of Hosts says: “I will save My people from the land of the east and from the land of the west.
KJVThus saith the Lord of hosts; Behold, I will save my people from the east country, and from the west country;
영어 직역만군의 주가 이같이 말하노라. 보라, 내가 나의 백성을 동쪽 나라에서와 서쪽 나라에서 구원하리라.
8인도하여다가 예루살렘 가운데 거하게 하리니 그들은 내 백성이 되고 나는 성실과 정의로 그들의 하나님이 되리라
BSBI will bring them back to dwell in Jerusalem, where they will be My people, and I will be their faithful and righteous God.”
KJVAnd I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.

BSBThis is what the LORD of Hosts says: “Let your hands be strong, you who now hear these words spoken by the prophets who were present when the foundations were laid to rebuild the temple, the house of the LORD of Hosts.
KJVThus saith the Lord of hosts; Let your hands be strong, ye that hear in these days these words by the mouth of the prophets, which were in the day that the foundation of the house of the Lord of hosts was laid, that the temple might be built.
영어 직역만군의 주가 이같이 말하노라. 너희 손들을 강하게 하라, 너희가 이 날들에 선지자들의 입으로 말미암아 이 말들을 듣는 자들아. 만군의 주의 집의 기초가 놓인 그 날에 있던 선지자들이라, 성전이 건축되기 위함이다.
10그 날 전에는 사람도 삯을 얻지 못하였고 짐승도 삯을 받지 못하였으며 사람이 대적을 인하여 출입에 평안치 못하였었나니 이는 내가 뭇 사람으로 서로 치게 하였음이어니와
BSBFor before those days neither man nor beast received wages, nor was there safety from the enemy for anyone who came or went, for I had turned every man against his neighbor.
KJVFor before these days there was no hire for man, nor any hire for beast; neither was there any peace to him that went out or came in because of the affliction: for I set all men every one against his neighbour.
영어 직역이 날들 전에는 사람을 위한 품삯이 없었고, 짐승을 위한 어떤 품삯도 없었고, 나가거나 들어오는 자에게 평강도 없었다. 고난 때문이다. 내가 모든 사람을 한 사람씩 그의 이웃에게 대항하여 놓았다.
11만군의 여호와가 말하노니 이제는 내가 이 남은 백성을 대하기를 전일과 같이 아니할 것인즉
BSBBut now I will not treat the remnant of this people as I did in the past,” declares the LORD of Hosts.
KJVBut now I will not be unto the residue of this people as in the former days, saith the Lord of hosts.
영어 직역그러나 이제 내가 이 백성의 남은 자를 위하여 전날들 같이 하지 아니하리라, 만군의 주가 말하였다.
12곧 평안한 추수를 얻을 것이라 포도나무가 열매를 맺으며 땅이 산물을 내며 하늘은 이슬을 내리리니 내가 이 남은 백성으로 이 모든 것을 누리게 하리라
BSB“For the seed will be prosperous, the vine will yield its fruit, the ground will yield its produce, and the skies will give their dew. To the remnant of this people I will give all these things as an inheritance.
KJVFor the seed shall be prosperous; the vine shall give her fruit, and the ground shall give her increase, and the heavens shall give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these things.

13유다 족속아 이스라엘 족속아 너희가 이방 가운데서 저주가 되었었으나 이제는 내가 너희를 구원하여 너희로 축복이 되게 하리니 두려워 말지니라 손을 견고히 할지니라
BSBAs you have been a curse among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, so I will save you, and you will be a blessing. Do not be afraid; let your hands be strong.”
KJVAnd it shall come to pass, that as ye were a curse among the heathen, O house of Judah, and house of Israel; so will I save you, and ye shall be a blessing: fear not, but let your hands be strong.

KJVFor thus saith the Lord of hosts; As I thought to punish you, when your fathers provoked me to wrath, saith the Lord of hosts, and I repented not:

BSBThese are the things you must do: Speak truth to one another, render true and sound judgments in your gates,
KJVThese are the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates:

17심중에 서로 해하기를 도모하지 말며 거짓 맹세를 좋아하지 말라 이 모든 일은 나의 미워하는 것임이니라 나 여호와의 말이니라
BSBdo not plot evil in your hearts against your neighbor, and do not love to swear falsely, for I hate all these things,” declares the LORD.
KJVAnd let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith the Lord.

19만군의 여호와가 말하노라 사월의 금식과 오월의 금식과 칠월의 금식과 시월의 금식이 변하여 유다 족속에게 기쁨과 즐거움과 희락의 절기가 되리니 오직 너희는 진실과 화평을 사랑할지니라
BSB“This is what the LORD of Hosts says: The fasts of the fourth, the fifth, the seventh, and the tenth months will become times of joy and gladness, cheerful feasts for the house of Judah. Therefore you are to love both truth and peace.”
KJVThus saith the Lord of hosts; The fast of the fourth month, and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall be to the house of Judah joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts; therefore love the truth and peace.
영어 직역만군의 주가 이같이 말하노라. 네 번째 달의 금욕일과, 다섯 번째 달의 금욕일과, 일곱 번째 달의 금욕일과, 열 번째 달의 금욕일이 유다의 집을 위하여 기쁨과 즐거움이 되리고, 명랑한 절기들이 되리라. 그러므로 진리와 평강을 사랑하라.

KJVThus saith the Lord of hosts; It shall yet come to pass, that there shall come people, and the inhabitants of many cities:
영어 직역만군의 주가 이같이 말하노라. 그것이 아직도 일어날지니, 백성들이 오리라, 그리고 많은 도시들의 거주민들이.
21이 성읍 거민이 저 성읍에 가서 이르기를 우리가 속히 가서 만군의 여호와를 찾고 여호와께 은혜를 구하자 할 것이면 나도 가겠노라 하겠으며
BSBand the residents of one city will go to another, saying: ‘Let us go at once to plead before the LORD and to seek the LORD of Hosts. I myself am going.’
KJVAnd the inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, Let us go speedily to pray before the Lord, and to seek the Lord of hosts: I will go also.
영어 직역그리고 한 도시의 거주민들이 다른 도시로 가서 말하기를, 우리가 빨리 가서 주 앞에 기도하고, 만군의 주를 구하자. 나도 가겠노라 하리라.
22많은 백성과 강대한 나라들이 예루살렘으로 와서 만군의 여호와를 찾고 여호와께 은혜를 구하리라
BSBAnd many peoples and strong nations will come to seek the LORD of Hosts in Jerusalem and to plead before the LORD.”
KJVYea, many people and strong nations shall come to seek the Lord of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the Lord.

23만군의 여호와가 말하노라 그 날에는 방언이 다른 열국 백성 열 명이 유다 사람 하나의 옷자락을 잡을 것이라 곧 잡고 말하기를 하나님이 너희와 함께 하심을 들었나니 우리가 너희와 함께 가려 하노라 하리라 하시니라
BSBThis is what the LORD of Hosts says: “In those days ten men from the nations of every tongue will tightly grasp the robe of a Jew, saying, ‘Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.’”
KJVThus saith the Lord of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you.
